The authenticity of the Montafon Steinschaf is reflected in the small amount of meat, which is a treat for the palate thanks to the tender meat quality and unique flavour. Some Montafon restaurants have recognised this and, together with the ‘Montafon Stone Sheep’ project group, are inviting guests to the ‘Montafon Stone Sheep Lamb Gourmet Weeks’ from 21 September to 12 October. The delicious lamb meat is refined in a variety of ways in the participating establishments.
