The "SCHRUSER PLÄTZLI FÄSCHT" takes place on a Saturday in June, July, August and September (17.00-22.00) in the village centre of Schruns. Culinary delicacies, fine drinks and music are served by local restaurateurs in the alleyways of Schruns.

What we Montafoners are good at: partying in traditional costume and lederhosen. What we have learnt from the people of Munich: White sausages and pretzels. What we have in common with the people of Munich: good beer. So nothing stands in the way of the Montafon Oktoberfest. We don't have a Oktoberfest, but we do have sensational mountains with far-reaching views that guarantee unforgettable festive days. And of course there's plenty of live music too.

The authenticity of the Montafon Steinschaf is reflected in the small amount of meat, which is a treat for the palate thanks to the tender meat quality and unique flavour. Some Montafon restaurants have recognised this and, together with the ‘Montafon Stone Sheep’ project group, are inviting guests to the ‘Montafon Stone Sheep Lamb Gourmet Weeks’ from 21 September to 12 October. The delicious lamb meat is refined in a variety of ways in the participating establishments.
