All About the Valisera Cable Car

Silvretta Park Montafon
Experience an exciting evening at Silvretta Montafon! From 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM, you can enjoy musical entertainment in the market hall and at the Valisera Cable Car mountain station. In the information gondolas at the mid-station, you’ll get insights into our apprenticeships – directly from our trainers and apprentices. Our cable car technicians will show you everything about the cable car system.
Once at the top, you can look forward to a tour of the snowcat garage, fun & games with snowcats for kids, an equipment exhibition featuring snowcats, ski-doos, and crane crawlers, live music, refreshments at the Valisera Hüsli, and as the highlight of the evening, an impressive drone show.

The Burning Lederhosen Festival from August 7 to 9, 2025, is a true open-air music spectacle hosted by voXXclub under the open sky. voXXclub have invited many of their musical friends, promising a grand open-air experience.
In the heart of Silvretta Montafon, we can look forward to one highlight after another. As a grand finale, voXXclub and friends will shake the mountain on the last festival day!

The “Schruser Plätzli Fäscht” takes place on one Saturday each in June, July, August, and September (6:00 PM – 10:00 PM) in the village center of Schruns.
Local restaurateurs serve culinary delights, fine drinks, and music in the charming alleys of Schruns.

On 14 August, Nova Stoba will be transformed into a stage for one of the best ABBA cover bands: ABBA Dream.
An evening full of joy, memories and a touch of nostalgia awaits you again this summer when the members of ABBA Dream play the best hits from the Swedish cult band. Sing-along fever is guaranteed with songs such as ‘Dancing Queen’, ‘Mamma Mia’ and ‘Waterloo’.

What we Montafoners do best: partying in traditional attire and lederhosen. What we’ve adopted from the Munich folks: white sausages and pretzels. What we have in common with them: great beer.
So nothing stands in the way of the Montafon Oktoberfest! We may not have a “Wiesn,” but we do have spectacular mountains with stunning views that guarantee unforgettable festivities.
Of course, there will be hearty live music by the Trachtenkapelle Ibach, Grenzenlos Böhmische, and the Pitztaler!

Skigebiet

Letzte Woche kam nach langer Zeit ohne Schneefall endlich mal wieder eine ordentliche Ladung POWDER! Eine wirklich willkommene Abwechslung. Es gibt wenige Tage im Jahr an denen so viel Schnee in so kurzer Zeit kommt. Der Plan am Morgen war also direkt auf die Zamangspitze rauf zu gehen, um das super Wetter und die Top Schneebedingungen auszunutzen. Der Aufstieg dauert je nach Tempo ca. 15 bis 20 Minuten. Für mich ist die Abfahrt von der Zamangspitze eine der coolsten die es am Hochjoch für Freerider gibt. Sehr verspieltes Terrain mit kleinen und großen Cliffs, Rinnen und mehr - es ist wirklich für jeden was dabei.
Jetzt heißt es wieder: Pray for snow!!!
