Tired from powdering, climbing, biking or hiking? Knocked out after a long ski tour? Or just lazy because the round was so fun in the evening? Then let yourself fall into one of these super comfortable beds. There's up to 8 pine bunks per room with their own shelves, blackout curtains, power outlets with USB ports, reading lamps, and more than enough room to stretch out all fours. The icing on the cake: the view out of the window of the mountains. Actually, it's much too good to close your eyes now.

The Josefsheim Hostel is located in the south of Vorarlberg, in the middle of the Montafon, in the center of Schruns and directly at the valley station of the Silvretta Montafon mountain railroad. Ski area, sports stores, restaurants, cafes, bars, train station and bus stops are easily reachable within 5 minutes walking distance.

Sleeping is overrated

From € 30,- per person / per night.

The Josefsheim offers a total of 13 double and multi-bed rooms on two floors. Private bunks with blackout curtains, reading lamps and power sockets with USB ports, as well as lockable cupboards next to the bed make your stay at the hostel uncomplicated and comfortable.

Staying at Josefsheim Hostel is the cheapest and best way to vacation in Montafon, explore the area, meet like-minded people, and have a modern and cool home base to retreat to at the end of the day.

Lockable storage space

Leave everything at home that you don't need on the mountain. The lighter the luggage, the easier the day. You can store your stuff neatly and safely in the lockable cabinets.

Ski cellar and bike depot

Keep your boots dry and your skis safe! And treat your bike to a cleaning off at the washing area outside. On the first floor you can store your sports equipment for free.

Bed linen

Sit down in your nest. In your bunk you'll find comfortable mattresses with cotton sheets, freshly made comforters and pillows. Tuck yourself in and snooze away.

Free WiFi

Find a quiet corner, get some work done, chat with family or friends at home. Or check out the Silvretta Montafon Online Shop for which mountain experience you can book online for tomorrow.

Restaurant in-house

Good news for your rumbling stomach: delicious bowls, crispy Rösti and oven-fresh tarte flambée lure you from your hostel room down to the Josefsheim Restaurant. Eating out in slippers - why not?!

Have you already turned your T-shirt inside out twice? Then put it in the washing machine now.

Bathroom Goals

So fresh, so clean

The washrooms, showers and toilets on the two hostel floors are separate for women and men.
The turquoise tiles in the women’s area make you feel like you're under a tropical shower in the South Seas.
Pink is the new Black: That's why men treat their beard to a fresh trim in the pink washroom.

A few of our rooms also have their own bathroom and toilet.

KOCHSTUBE (Communal Cooking Area)

Social cooking & meal sharing

Sure, it's nice to dine in the Josefsheim restaurant in between. But if you stay a few days longer, you don't always want to eat out. In the hostel community cooking is a lot of fun. Join a kitchen crew, exchange recipes and simply swing the wooden spoon together!

As an added bonus, you can always get one or two what-to-see and where-to-ski tips in the kitchen.

Are you still missing the right ingredients? The supermarkets Spar and Billa offer fresh, regional food and are within 5 minutes walking distance.

For late arrivals, please notify us in advance. Early check-out possible at any time - a key drop box is in front of the reception.
